Gesture Synth WeldPro

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms cover the Gesture Synth Weld web app at gesturesynthweld.app and the Pro subscription sold there. The free, open-source version of the same instrument at gesturesynthweld.com is covered by its own MIT licence (source: github.com/rainbow686/gesture-synth-weld); these terms do not restrict anything that licence grants you.

1. Who you are dealing with

Gesture Synth Weld is an independent project: the service is built and run by an independent developer ("we", "us"), who is also the controller of the data described in our Privacy Policy. There is no company behind it and no one else to ask — you reach the person who wrote it at support@gesturesynthweld.app.

2. Playing is free

The instrument itself — every mode, every voice, gestures, 120-second recordings kept in your browser, .mid export and two guided pieces — is free and needs no account. Nothing in these terms takes that away.

3. Pro is a subscription

4. Who sells to you (Creem is the reseller)

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record: your purchase is made from Creem, Creem issues your receipt and handles sales tax/VAT and payment processing, and Creem's own buyer terms apply to the transaction. We never see or store your card details. Refunds are described on the Refunds page.

5. What Pro gives you

6. Your recordings, and the commercial licence

You own what you make. We claim no ownership of your recordings, your performances or the samples you load into the sampler.

While you are subscribed, we grant you a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the recordings you make with Pro for commercial purposes — including after your subscription ends. Cancelling does not reach back and un-license work you have already finished.

You are responsible for having the rights to any audio you load into the instrument, and for what you publish with it.

7. Fair use of the service

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and browser, camera and hardware behaviour is outside our control. We may add, change or retire features; if we retire something substantial during a period you have paid for, we will say so and offer a pro-rata refund.

A recording you exported, and the commercial licence in §6, are yours to keep regardless of what happens to the service later.

9. Limits of our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending your subscription

You can cancel at any time (§3), and you can delete your account entirely from the same panel — that removes your account, your cloud pages and your recordings, and cancels the subscription. We may suspend an account that breaks §7; where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your work.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; disputes are subject to the courts at the operator's place of establishment. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new date. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel (§3) and we will refund the unused part of your period.
